名古屋帯は袋帯よりも長さが短めで、合わせる着物も普段使い向きの帯です。
代表的なものに綴織(つづれおり)、紬(つむぎ)、博多織(はかたおり)などがあり、金糸・銀糸を使った綴織は、訪問着や色無地などを合わせて略礼装に、紬や博多織は小紋や紬、木綿などのカジュアル着向きになります。
